Strategies meeting 1-14
The
first thing to do is after getting the material I read the material until I
understand and find conclusions in the material, if I don't understand the
material I try to find material from other sources and this strategy continues
to other meetings.
Synopsis meeting 1-14
1st meeting
In journalism material, it concludes that journalism
is the collection, preparation and distribution of news and commentary related
to feature material through print and electronic media such as newspapers,
magazines, books, blogs etc. So this use of journalism was extended to include
all print and electronic communications related to current affairs.
2nd meeting
In this second material about the facts of the value
paper and the elements contained in journalism. The elements are proximity,
prominence, timeliness, consequence, human interest. In journalism there are
facts that are newsworthy and there are facts that are not newsworthy, for
example news A today is newsworthy but it does not rule out the possibility
that tomorrow it will not be newsworthy.
3rd meeting
In this material I understand how to assess a writing
rubric which uses the inverted pyramid pattern. The inverted pyramid is the
primary form of news writing which places the information in the story in the
order of decreasing importance and relearning about passive voice and active
voice
4th meeting
Background research It is usually necessary to conduct
background research before drafting questions to ask during the interview,
either about the topic to be discussed or to the individual to be interviewed.
5th meeting
Features are reports written on an object or event
that provide information, educate, entertain, convince, and arouse sympathy or
empathy from readers. A feature resembles a news item in some ways but differs
from it in some other ways. Like news, features relate to facts.
6th meeting
Feature writing is an attempt to connect emotionally
with readers. It serves the purpose of entertaining readers while informing
them. Yet they are less objective than live news. Personality profiles are
written to bring the audience closer to someone on or off the news.
8th meeting
An editorial cartoonist, also known as a political
cartoonist, is an artist who draws editorial cartoons that contain some level
of political or social commentary. Their cartoons are used to convey and
question aspects of daily news or current affairs in a national or
international context.
9th meeting
In reviewing artwork, there are several procedures
that need to be considered when writing a review. Your readers can get great
reviews. Make sure you use good writing techniques so that readers are more
interested in reading your review.
10th meeting
Writing photo captions is an important part of a news
photographer's job. , we expect various conveniences for those who want to
learn the basics in making photo captions. Photo captions themselves have a
very broad meaning.
11th meeting
Advertising plays a very important role in
publication, because that is what pays the bills. It also helps to educate the
public about products, goods and services, and advertising helps to stimulate
the economy. Advertising is what pays newspaper staff salaries and pays for
publication production costs.
12th meeting
An advertisement can be said to be effective if it can
create the response the audience wants, which can influence people, have an
impact, and reap measurable results. Advertising effectiveness needs to be
focused on several aspects, namely the perception of seeing or hearing, feeling
emotions, persuasion of beliefs, acting behavior, connected associations and
cognitive thinking.
13th meeting
Broadcast media are direct, bringing news from the
scene to the homes of viewers and listeners. Broadcasting is defined as a means
of speaking or appearing on radio or television (to speak or appear on radio or
television). But in other dictionaries Broadcasting can be interpreted as radio
and television broadcasts or broadcast media.
Reflection meeting 1-14
In my opinion, getting to know the world of journalism
makes me different in this new sense. I know more about journalism and I just
realized that it is not easy to be a great journalist with interesting news or
writing. So in studying journalism I became aware of the world of journalism.
and I know how to write rubrics. I feel All the information from encounters 1
to 13 is new to me and interesting. makes me want to know more about how to be
a good journalist. What's more, it's very important for me in this 6th
semester.
